My system
works, but performance seems sluggish. If I check my "System" control
panel and look at the "Performance" section, it says that the IDE
controllers are working in "DOS Compatibility Mode" and that 32-bit file
system access and 32-bit virtual memory are not available. Then I look
at the "Device Manager" section and it has little yellow exclamation
marks next to the IDE driver entries. I can't figure out what to do

Problem with KT400A-ASE and AMD XP Barton 2600+ cpu. I have tested with
4 mainboards and 3 Barton 2600+ cpu. All have same problem. Mainboard
screen shows cpu MHz 1.9GHz, it should show 2.1GHz. Bios is 2k435
and it shows on 1st screen xp 2600+ cpu normally, but next screen shows
1.9GHz cpu! Fps is 166. Problem is in mainboard, maybe need correction
in bios code??? |
