What should one be aware of when cleaning the screen of a CTX 15"/17" PR series monitor?

At the factory the screens of all CTX monitors are treated with a special protective coating to counter reflection and glare, and to improve contrast. The coating is very delicate so the screen must be cleaned with a soft material like wool, it must be dampened and then applied lightly to the screen.

Attention! Any of the following things below will harm the surface of the screen.

1) Do not use powerful household detergents, cleaners or sprays.
2) Any kind of oil-based pollutant.
3) Rubbing with coarse materials like toilet tissue.
4) Knocking or scraping with hard substances like fingernails or plastic.
5) High Street glass cleaners.
6) Toothpaste
7) Adhesives or sticky tape.
8) With regard to specialist camera lens cleaners, this company has not tested any and therefore does not recommend any.
