Q: What is the instruction of the OCTEK recovery CD (XP)?

First thing you will need to do is put the Octek Recovery CD into the CD-Rom drive.

Secondly you will need to change the system boot sequence. To do this :-

- Turn on/restart the computer

- Repeatedly press the 'Delete' button on the keyboard

This will bring you to a blue colour screen that will have the title 'CMOS Setup Utility'.

Arrow down to the second option 'Advanced BIOS Features' and press 'Enter' and then arrow down to 'First Boot Device' or 'Boot Sequence' and change this (by pressing 'Enter') so first boot device is CD-ROM, and the 'Enter'

Then press the 'F10' button and 'Y' to save and exit.

Your computer will then restart and you may or may not see the message 'Boot from CD-ROM... Press any key' If yes, press any key, if not it will commence the recovery installation and you will then just need to follow the prompts on the screen.
